Remove or blur a photo background with your own phone (free)

Our web uploader can blur backgrounds automatically on your device (nothing is uploaded until you confirm). If you prefer your phone's built-ins:

iPhone (iOS 16+)

Open the photo → press and hold the item → it lifts off the background → Share → Save as new image with clean background.

Android (most recent Samsung/Pixel)

Open in Gallery/Google Photos → edit → look for object/portrait tools (names vary: eraser, portrait blur, cutout) → apply → save copy.
